We are looking for a Part-Time Facilities Assistant to join our team!
Job Description:
The Facilities Assistant will work with our administrative staff and aid other staff by completing general labor office duties. Schedule is flexible during our office hours of 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday – Friday, and as needed by our staff. 15-25 hours per week can be expected.
Responsibilities:
- Support with general building maintenance and light janitorial upkeep of the office including wiping down high-touch surfaces, set-up & clean-up of lunch events, changing lightbulbs, assisting with small office furniture assembly, etc.
- Assist in accepting deliveries, picking up orders, stocking office supplies & materials, and running local errands.
- Travel from Shelby Township office to Roseville office as needed (usually one time per week) to courier items.
- Stocking refrigerators daily with soda.
- Support our Print Room staff in scanning and printing of plans and books.
- Transfer boxes and other items to/from our offsite storage.
- Breaking down boxes for recycling, taking out trash as needed, etc.
- Keep company vehicles tidy..
Skills and Qualifications:
- High-school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid drivers license. Ability to multi-task and have good organizational skills are necessary. Must be able to lift 40lbs.
