Memorial Football Field Reconstruction
Memorial Field at Memorial Park, home to Center Line High School, underwent a complete reconstruction to improve safety and playability. Previously, the football field contained two gravel baseball infields, creating an uneven and unsafe surface. Funded by a State of Michigan grant, the project aimed to enhance the field’s quality and functionality.
Anderson, Eckstein & Westrick, Inc. (AEW) provided topographical surveying, design, civil engineering, contract administration, and construction observation. The project involved removing and replacing the turf, installing proper underdrainage and irrigation, and building walkways connecting the field to the new parking lot and other park amenities. The upgraded field offers a safer, more modern space where the Center Line High School Panthers can proudly host games and welcome their community.
