UCS SWINEHART STADIUM ATHLETIC IMPROVEMENTS
Swinehart Stadium underwent a comprehensive transformation to modernize a decades‑old athletic facility serving both Utica High School and Eisenhower High School in Shelby Township. AEW provided civil engineering, surveying, traffic engineering, and construction services to support the redevelopment of the complex. The project introduced new team rooms, concessions, an officials room, restrooms, and home and visitor bleachers capable of accommodating more than 4,000 spectators. A new track meeting MHSAA standards was also constructed, enhancing opportunities for athletic competition and training. Site improvements included a new stadium entrance connected to the recently completed Stadium Drive, expanded parking created through the demolition of the former TM&G building, and infrastructure upgrades that improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety. AEW also redesigned the stormwater system using innovative infiltration methods, porous pavers, and upgraded sanitary sewer and water service infrastructure. The completed project delivers a modern, collegiate-style athletic venue that enhances the experience for athletes, coaches, spectators, and the broader school community.
