Wise Road Bridge Inspection

AEW provided construction observation services for the reconstruction of the Wise Road culvert over the Huron River in Commerce Township. The project, administered by the Road Commission for Oakland County, required careful coordination due to limited space near the Fox Lake weir and the need to maintain river flow and a safe work zone. AEW’s team, led by Project Manager Jennifer Chehab, PE, with support from quality assurance and observation staff, ensured successful delivery. The $119,390 project, funded through Major Road and Federal Aid sources, replaces an undersized, deteriorating culvert, improving safety and long-term reliability for the community.
