What made you decide to join AEW?

Do you remember how you felt when you started at AEW?
Nervous, it was my first engineering job and I didn’t know what to expect.
What were your career goals then compared to now?
When I first got hired in I didn’t know that the traffic department would suit me so well. My initial career goal when first starting at AEW was to just get my PE. Now, after working in the traffic department and loving it, I still want to get my PE but also my PTOE.
What advice would you give to college students focusing on Civil / Architecture / Survey?
Ask questions about different specialties in civil engineering and, if you are given the opportunity, try a few things in each specialty to find what you like.
What do you consider the biggest accomplishment of your career to date?
Growing as a person and as an engineer over the past 6 years with AEW.
