Graduate Surveyor
We are looking for a Graduate Surveyor to join our team!

Responsibilities
- Perform field surveys including boundary, topographic, and construction layout
- Maintain accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and clarify work performed
- Collect, process, and verify field data for accuracy and completeness
- Support drafting and preparation of survey drawings, plats, and reports using CAD and other software
- Conduct research on property boundaries, easements, and legal documents
- Work closely with senior surveyors and project managers to meet project timelines and quality standards
- Learn to interpret engineering plans, maps, and specifications
- Comply with safety procedures and standards
- Stay up to date with current surveying practices, tools, and regulations
Education/Experience
- Bachelors degree in Surveying or Geospatial Engineering from an accredited college or university. Internship or prior surveying experience is a plus
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience with Trimble Survey Controllers, GPS, Robotic Total Stations preferred
- Must possess effective written and oral communication skills
- Attendance, punctuality and reliability are essential requirements
- Must be able to work in inclement weather
- Self-Motivated, strong work ethic and team-player attitude
- Working towards state licensure as a Professional Surveyor
Work Environment
Surveyors may be subject to working long hours, may work in inclement weather conditions, may be required to stand for long periods of time, or walk on un-level or rugged terrain as the project dictates. Physical requirements include carrying equipment and supplies throughout the workday. Digging, cleaning and placement of stakes are also involved. Individuals in this position should be able to life, carry, and transport survey equipment weighing up to 50 pounds over various terrain and in various weather conditions.
