We are looking for a Traffic Engineer to join our team!

Job Description:

As a member of our traffic engineering team, you will be working closely with Senior Traffic Engineer and Project Managers to perform tasks related to Traffic Engineering and Transportation Engineering Services.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities for this role would include;

  • Traffic Operation Studies (provide capacity analysis and design of geometric elements)
  • Traffic Impact Studies
  • Traffic Safety Studies
  • Traffic Signal Design
  • Preparation of construction plans and specifications (including geometric design, signing and pavement marking design, maintenance of traffic design).

Education/Experience:

            Requirements:

  • BS in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Understanding of basic traffic engineering concepts
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Progressing towards licensure, or possessing a PE license in Michigan

            Preferences:

  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • Synchro and SimTraffic Experience
  • Microstation experience
