Anderson, Eckstein, and Westrick, Inc., seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineer in Shelby Township, Michigan, responsible for the following duties: reviewing and preparing technical reports, plan reviews, plot plan reviews, utility designs, and design work for our municipal and private engineering projects; Preparing permits and bidding documents; Utilizing knowledge of water and wastewater systems and hydrologic and hydraulic processes for life cycle asset management and collection system improvement; Utilizing sustainable and best management practices; Managing and analyzing large data sets of flow, level, and rainfall data to assist in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling and sewerage billing; sanitary and combined sewer overflow monitoring and analysis; designing streambank stabilization and restoration measures; and Utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SWMM, SSOAP, and HEC-RAS software. Qualified applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a foreign equivalent. Qualified applicants must have at least three years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Water/Wastewater Engineer, or a substantially similar position performing the following duties: Preparing the technical reports, plan reviews, and design work for municipal and private engineering projects; Utilizing knowledge of water and wastewater systems and hydrologic and hydraulic processes for life cycle asset management; Utilizing sustainable and best management practices; Managing and analyzing large data sets of flow, level, and rainfall data to assist in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, collection system improvement, and sewerage billing; Experience with combined and sanitary sewer overflow control programs and design of streambank restoration measures; Preparing technical reports; Utilizing SWMM, SSOAP, and HEC-RAS software.
