Work Continues on New Macomb County Sheriff’s Marine Patrol Boathouse

Following a Groundbreaking Ceremony held in August the former Marine Patrol Boathouse was demolished. Work began on the new 14,000 sq. ft. facility with a completion date scheduled for the summer of 2023. The new building is more than 5,000 sq. ft. larger than the previous structure and will include administrative and dispatch offices, a boat garage with five interior boat wells with adjustable docks, 3 exterior docks, a maintenance garage with facilities for dive teams, a storm shelter and a new generator with lightning protection system.

AEW serves as the Lead Consultant, Civil and Structural Engineer, and provides architectural support to Wakely & Associates, along with Construction Administration services.
